WE PARTICIPATE with many insurance plans, including:

Aetna PPO, Anthem BCBS PPO, POS & BCBS FEP, Medicare, Railroad Medicare, Humana, United Healthcare – UHC PPO/HMO, Cigna EPO Connect, Cigna PPO, Multiplan, Humana Tricare East Region (this includes Tricare Prime, Tricare Select and Tricare for Life. Tricare Prime members will need to obtain a referral for Integrated Dermatology of Reston before scheduling an appointment). The ONLY Medicaid plans accepted are Anthem Health Keepers Plus and UHC Community Plan.

WE DO NOT PARTICIPATE with:

Straight Virginia Medicaid ( it MUST go through Anthem or UHC), Aetna Better Health, Molina Healthcare, Sentara Community Plan (or any other Medicaid plans not listed above), Kaiser Insurance, Aetna Innovation Health through “Marketplace”, and Anthem Healthkeepers Pathway X Tiered Hospital Plan.

If you have any questions about our participation with your insurance plan, please call your insurance company and/or our office before scheduling an appointment.

If your plan requires a REFERRAL, it is your responsibility as the patient, to obtain this from your Primary Care Doctor BEFORE your visit. (Tip: Most HMO plans require referrals, so please check with your insurance company to verify if a referral is needed for your appointment. IDG does not check this requirement prior to your visit.)

Our online scheduling allows patients to self-schedule up to 90 days ahead. If you are an established patient, you will see a “Welcome Back”!  notice appears after validating your name and date of birth. If you do not see this notice after scheduling your appointment (even though you are a returning patient) please call our office to verify your information before filling out the registration portal link that has been e-mailed to you.

For SURGICAL and COSMETIC appointments, you will need to contact our office to schedule.

Registration

After scheduling an appointment, you will receive a registration link from e Derm.

To log in, you will be prompted to use the patient’s last name and date of birth.  If you did not receive a registration email link in your inbox, please check your spam folder, as this email is sometimes redirected. If after checking your spam folder you find that you still have not received the email, or if you are having trouble logging in, please call our office for assistance.

New Patients:

Patients scheduling for ACNE must schedule an appointment with our acne specialist, Colleen Burkhart, PA-C.

If you would like to fill the forms out manually, New Patient Forms are found on our website home page under “patient forms” (We ask that you print them and bring the completed forms with you at the time of your visit). If you are having trouble finding the link in your email, you can call the office to have the online pre-registration link re-sent to you.

New Patients are required to arrive 15 minutes ahead of their scheduled appointment time. Patients unable to arrive with enough time to complete the check-in process before their scheduled appointment may be asked to reschedule.
